CSS LLC (the "Company"), a Swiss limited liability company registered and domiciled in Switzerland, operates invoc.ch and is the data controller responsible for the processing of your personal data.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP/nDSG, revised version effective 1 September 2023) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Personal Data We Collect

We may collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Application data: Name, email address, phone number, LinkedIn profile, location, and information you provide in your startup application (idea description, team details, documents).
  • Usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referral source.
  • Communication data: Content of emails and messages you send us.

4. Purpose and Legal Basis

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Reviewing and evaluating your incubator application (legitimate interest / pre-contractual measures)
  • Communicating with you about your application status (contractual necessity)
  • Improving our services and application process (legitimate interest)
  • Complying with legal obligations (legal obligation)

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share application data with invoc.ch mentors and partners involved in the evaluation process, under strict confidentiality obligations. Data may be transferred to countries outside Switzerland/EEA only with adequate safeguards in place.

6. Data Retention

Application data is retained for the duration of the evaluation process and up to 12 months after a decision has been communicated, unless you request earlier deletion. Data required by Swiss law is retained as mandated (typically 10 years for accounting records under Art. 958f CO).

7. Your Rights

Under the FADP and GDPR (where applicable), you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing
  • Data portability
  • Lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC)

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
